For today's gift, we've been given... A gift! Over two weeks into this calendar, and we've FINALLY been given a present! ...The box model variety, not what we've already been getting the last 15 days.
Honestly, it's about time we got the present models from this calendar! The first calendar gave us one on Day 9
While Monster High couldn't even wait that long and started at Day 4!
But here we are at Day 16, and we've finally been given our first gift box gift. ...And BOY, is it a letdown! This may be the worst present design we've seen in these calendars!
It doesn't even look like a gift! It looks like a slice of cake, or a relish-and-sauerkraut sandwich on Wonder bread with a pickle on top! Most of the other presents at least tried to present the illusion there was a ribbon around the top and/or sides. This one can't even be bothered to make the design a little bigger and sandwich a green brick in between the white bricks on the top and bottom! I know I've probably said this about a model or two in this calendar, but this is legitimately the WORST model we've gotten so far!
It makes a model made with only 4 pieces stacked on top of a 2x3 brick look like it was wrapped by Martha Stewart!
And the worst part? ...This is only the first present. ...Out of four... And they all look the same... And, knowing this calendar, we're getting each one for the next 3 days... Well, if that's the case, expect a few one-sentence reviews until late this week! Hope for the best! ...The best being NOT more gift boxes all at once...
