Today, we have another generic toy in the shape of a biplane. ...A very minimalist biplane.
The features that make this a plane are a flat base strip for the wings and a brick for the propeller. This could have just as easily become a car or a submarine. ...But it's supposed to look generic and low cost, so I guess I can't complain too much.
The propeller also helps give it a "Mega Bloks" feel since it's one of those bricks that works with the little pipe pieces Mega Bloks is all about. Seriously, does this exist in Lego or Kreo or any other building brick company? Mega Bloks seems to have the monopoly on these shapes.
I guess it would have been nice to get something that at least resembles wheels on the bottom. Like if they just put two black studs on the bottom in the front and/or back. That would have completed the illusion. But it's just a nitpick.
Overall, it's ok. It's generic and doesn't stand out too much, but that's its point and I wasn't expecting much else from this calendar. Just another toy for the Minions to play with. ...And hopefully blow themselves up with...
