Alright, sorry about the lack of updates. I've been so busy with some other projects, it's just slipped my mind. So I'll do two tonight and two tomorrow and we should be caught up.
Anyway, today's door brings us some skis for the penguin!
Not much to say about the construction. They're standard ski pieces most building brick companies use with a white and a black slanted brick on each to give the impression of footholds.
But the problem with these is that, even though they're apparently meant for the penguin according to the box, they're impossible to attach. The claws at the end of the penguin's feet rest on the top of the slanted brick, making a connection impossible. It could be possible that they DIDN'T mean for the penguin to use the skis, but it's disappointing that they gave us that idea and then didn't follow through with it...
Overall, they're not bad. They're not the most complicated model we've seen so far, but since, unlike the jar of jelly we just looked at, they're an accessory meant to be used with another character, they work just fine. Let's see if I can say the same with the next door.
