On the eighth day of Christmas, the maids a-milkin' went on strike, so I got this robot instead.
We seem to be getting more models with a large number of pieces, since this one has 14 different pieces, not counting the banana it came with. And it looks pretty nice.
I especially like the blue transparent goggles, which gives it one of those nerdy-but-innocent expressions. It's like if Wall-E tried to create a brother, it's cute.
Actually, does anyone else think this looks like a robotic Minion? With the big goggles and the antenna that could pass as a tuft of hair and the fact that it came with a banana, I think Gru is looking into replacing his current employees with robots... Sort of like that Twilight Zone episode...
And yes, we have a little, rubbery banana, since Minions are all about bananas.
Overall, I like this one. It's cute, there's a fair amount of pieces, and the idea that it's a robotic version of a Minion does show some creativity. And the banana was a nice touch. ...Even if I don't know if it was actually meant for the robot or if they just included it at the last minute.
