And today, we finally get the snowmobile the Minion is terribly driving on the front. Now we can be party to a dozen counts of vehicular homicide!
But in all seriousness, this is pretty nice looking, though a bit plainer than most of the other models with a large amount of parts. I guess it looks plain because it has a 2x4 plank and I feel like more could go on there. Like add some rockets on the back or sides! But it does still look like a snowmobile and it's nicely built, so for a model from an advent calendar, I shouldn't complain too much.
It's also another model that has a major "Mega Bloks" feel to it with the treads being these little things that join pipe pieces. ...Which look a lot like pieces of sprue to think about it... ...Were these created one day when a guy just didn't want to take the sprue off the kits, so they packaged it with the pieces and just said "No, we INTENTIONALLY left them in because... we're introducing a new pipe system to our models and they're the best way to combine them! Yeah, that's it!" ...Seeing as how I haven't found these used in any other set, that guess is as good as any...
Overall, another good model to come out of this calendar and our first major accessory for the Minion figures. ...Let's just hope he's more careful in real life than his drive of destruction on the front of the box.
