The Brick Miser: Advent Calendar 2017: Mega Bloks Monster High: Day 23

Day 23: Milk & Cookies

Coming up on Christmas here, so what better time to set out milk and cookies for ol' Dead Wick? ...I'm assuming that's what their Santa Claus equivalent would be in this universe.

And yes, the calendar last year ALSO had a milk & cookies setup. ...Though they did bother to change a few pieces between these models.

For starters, the Monster High table is held up by a cobra! ...Either a cast-iron cobra, a cobra turned to metal, or an actual enchanted black cobra who's been cursed to hold a table on its head for the rest of time. ...Any one of those wouldn't surprise me.

I'd imagine it would have one whopping headache and a back stiffer than a frozen pretzel if it was alive and had to carry this table on its head forever. ...How is this universe supposed to be "friendly and reasonable" again?

The delicacies are these little muffin pieces I've also seen in Lego sets, so either they made muffins or quite a bit of baking soda went into making these cookies... And what flavors are we looking at here? We have purple and transparent yellow. ...So they're leaving out foxglove and uranium baked goods, then? ...I'm hoping their Santa equivalent really IS dead, since I'm pretty sure that combination would kill and/or melt most monsters, living AND dead...!

But don't worry. They've also provided what is likely 100-year-old milk to wash it down with. Which is the exact same carton from the other calendar. ...Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. ...Like the guy who downs this toxic snack will be properly fixed...

So there we go. We have the presents, the toys, the fire, the tables, the characters, their accessories, and now the treats to give the jolly old/dead man! ...Something's missing from this picture... Well, we have just one more flap to open, so come back tomorrow, and we'll see what we're given to truly make this the Monster's Holiday!
